The Dirtiest Vegan Fries in Éire 🇮🇪

These vegan fries are extra dirty! I mean the type of dirty that will have you running straight down to confession afterwards to get some much needed absolution. 100% vegan and an absolute perfect Monday night basket of goodness that's guaranteed to give those Monday blues a right wallop 👋

For the 'Oh So Cheesy' sauce
  • 150g of raw Cashew Nuts (either soaked the night before or boiled for 20mins)
  • 1 small roasted Red Pepper (from a jar)
  • 1 tbsp of fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp of Nutritional Yeast (I use Marigold with added B12)
  • 2 tbsp of Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp of melted Vegan Butter (I use the Naturi Block)
  • 1 pinch of Garlic Powder (can be found in any Asian supermarket)
  • 1 tsp of Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp of Salt
  • 1/2 tsp of ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp of Maple Syrup
  • 60ml of Hot Water 
  • 4 slices of Vegan bacon (I use vBites Cheatin' Bacon)
  • Packed of frozen McCains or whatever brand you fancy
The Vegan Bacon
  • Fry up some tasty bacon and chop it up into small pieces 💪


How to cook The Dirtiest Vegan Fries in Éire 🇮🇪

  1. Combine all the ingredients, except the hot water, into a blender (I use the Nutribullet) 
  2. Whizz it up as much as possible
  3. Add hot water and whizz that baby up again until you get a smooth consistency
  4. Fry up the bacon and chop it like its hot
  5. Throw the chips in the oven (or make homemade chips!)
  6. Bang all that sauce over the chips and top with the bacon
  7. Holy brother of St.John this is a fine feed, as they say in the Midlands 😋🇮🇪
